Q, What clothing do you recommend to wear on Thelma?
You’ll only get wet if it rains or you fall in – but remember it can get chilly when out on the water. Deck shoes or flat soft soled shoes are a must, otherwise normal leisurewear is OK. Life jackets are available for all. If you feel happier wearing one please ask.
Q. What are the catering arrangements on Thelma?
Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included throughout the day. Wines and beer can also be made available. For day events we normally arrange a buffet, or agree for you to arrange instead – please contact us for advice.
Q. Method of Payment
We require a 10% deposit on booking and payment in full 7 days prior to cruise. Unfortunately we cannot accept debit / credit card payments at present.
Q. Where are pick up / drop points?
Normally Cowes Isle of Wight, but other Solent points by arrangement.
Q. Are animals allowed on board?
One small well behaved dog may be permitted per party if arranged in advanced. A buoyancy aid is available.
Q. Are there computer facilities / communication aids on board?
No – the theme is for old fashioned days out, away from the modern epidemic of communications. Mobile phones are discouraged.
Q. I am a poor swimmer, need I worry?
Please inform a member of crew before sailing. Personal buoyancy aids are available.
Q. What happens if the weather is poor?
Thelma only sails at the discretion of the skipper. The party leader will be advised at the earliest time if conditions unsuitable and your trip rescheduled.
